Public Safety Advisory: Inclement Weather Update
Marietta, Ga. - As we prepare for the incoming winter weather system projected to impact our region this weekend and into Monday, my primary concern remains the safety and well-being of every resident in Cobb County. Our team is working closely with the National Weather Service and Cobb DOT to monitor road conditions and ensure we are ready to respond wherever needed.
Facility Updates & Inmate Visitation
To ensure the safety of both our staff and the public, please be advised of the following change to our operations:
-
No Public Visitation: There will be no visitors permitted at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center on Monday, January 26, 2026.
-
We understand the importance of staying connected with loved ones, but the safety of our roadways and facility access is our top priority during this weather event. We will resume normal visitation schedules as soon as it is safe to do so.
