Fingerprinting

The Fingerprinting Section is located in the basement of the Public Safety Building at 185 Roswell Street, Marietta, Georgia. This section prepares the fingerprint cards for civil matters such as:

Licensing
Firearm Permits
Employment

The hours of operation are from 8:00 A.M. through 3:45 P.M. There is also a break for lunch from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. No appointment is necessary or accepted.

The Sheriff's Office fee for fingerprinting is $15.00 for up to 3 cards.

The Fingerprinting Section only accepts the following forms of payment:

Credit Cards
Debit Cards
Mobile Payments

There is a 3.5% processing fee for each payment transaction.

We DO NOT provide fingerprinting for Immigration and Naturalization Service (www.uscis.gov). There are no requirements for fingerprinting to obtain a United States passport.
