5th Annual Back to School Cobb Bash 

Marietta, GA (July 25, 2026) – The Cobb County Sheriff’s Office and Cobb Sheriff’s Foundation, Inc. will host its 5th Annual Back-to-School Cobb Bash, a free community event designed to prepare students and families for the upcoming school year. The event will feature the distribution of free backpacks and school supplies (while supplies last), community resource booths, a Parent Resource Zone, an Educator Resource Zone, Toddler, Kids and Teen Zones, games, inflatables, crafts, entertainment, food trucks and a community block party atmosphere. More than 2,900 attendees participated in last year’s event.

Why: The Back-to-School Cobb Bash helps ensure Cobb County students begin the school year equipped for success by providing essential school supplies, educational resources and access to community services. The event also strengthens connections between families, educators, local organizations and public safety personnel while addressing barriers that can impact student achievement and family well-being.
