Fugitive arrested in Smyrna

 

     On Wednesday, November 4, 2009 members of the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit and Fugitive Apprehension and Support Team (F.A.S.T.) located and arrested murder suspect Rayshawn White.  White was wanted by the Smyrna Police Department for an incident that occurred on October 24, 2009 at 2530 Old Concord Road in Smyrna,Georgia.

    Sheriff Neil Warren stated, “The immediate response of our FAST and Fugitive Unit allowed us to locate and arrest the individual without incident.”  The newly created FAST Unit is comprised of uniformed deputies who are cross trained to perform a variety of tasks within the Sheriff’s Office.  The purpose of this Unit is to focus on the service of criminal warrants that are of an aggravated nature. 

    Mr. White, 17 yoa, was charged with Murder Felony and Armed Robbery.   He was taken into custody on Atlanta Road in Smyrna and was booked into the Cobb County Jail. He is currently being held without bond.
