UPDATE

Inmate Worker Leaves Work Detail

 

On Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at approximately 9:00 am, an inmate worker assigned to the Cobb County Department of Parks and Recreation walked off a work detail at Cobblestone Golf Course in Acworth.   The inmate, Lewis Dustin Patterson of Acworth, (W/M, 21 yoa, 5’6, 135 lbs, blond hair and green eyes) was in custody on a Probation Violation. Patterson was sentenced on July 20, 2010 to Probation Boot camp.  He was on work detail awaiting acceptance of custody by the Georgia Department of Corrections.

           

 As of now, Patterson is still at large and the Sheriff’s Office is pursuing every lead.  If you have any information, regarding this inmate, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 770-499-4652.

UPDATE

 

     Lewis Patterson was apprehended and taken into custody without incident on Thursday, September 9th at approximately 10:45 pm.  He has been charged with Escape and is currently in custody at the Cobb County Jail with no bond.
