COBB COUNTY SHERIFF’S  OFFICE PRESS RELEASE

Sheriff Arrests Suspects Accused of Tax Fraud

 

     On April 12, 2011 at approximately 1:30 pm, the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office in cooperation with the Georgia Department of Revenue, arrested Quintia Davita Brown and Deantionne Montez Wolfe on 45 counts of Violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, (RICO), Computer Fraud, False Statements and Writings and Theft by Taking.  Brown, 28 yoa is from Atlanta and Wolfe, 21 is from Sandy Springs.

    

    “Anyone accused of committing fraudulent acts against federal, state or local entities, especially during these tough economic times, should be held accountable for their actions” stated Sheriff Neil Warren.   “The men and women in the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office take their oath of office seriously and are dedicated to ensuring the safety of our citizens.  The Investigators in this case, along with the Georgia Department of Revenue, proved that it is imperative that we all work together to enhance our resources to solve crimes in our community.”

   

   Both suspects are currently in custody at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.  This is an on going investigation.
