Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest 12 Wanted on Outstanding Charges

             On March 31^st, between the hours of 4:00 pm and 11:00 pm, the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office uniform and FAST (Fugitive Apprehension and Support Team) deputies arrested 12 individuals on outstanding criminal warrants.  The Unit focused their efforts in various areas of the County and apprehended individuals charged with such crimes as possession of drugs, felony probation violations, assault, and criminal trespassing.   

          The FAST deputies are comprised of 4 uniform deputies who are highly trained in the service of high risk warrant service, high risk inmate transports and cross trained to perform a variety of other tasks that may be assigned. Since the inception of FAST in July 2009 through February 2010, the unit has executed 192 arrest warrants, of which 90 were felonies.
