The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana contacted the sheriff’s office fugitive unit and U.S. marshals in reference to a subject named Jules Johnson who was wanted for a fatal shooting outside a business near Slidell, Louisiana.The fugitive unit located Johnson outside a motel in Marietta and after a brief foot chase was taken into custody.Johnson was booked as a fugitive into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center and will be extradited back to Louisiana to face charges of second-degree murder and possessing a firearm after a felony conviction.
The fugitive unit arrested Oluwole Olushoa wanted for robbery and assault. He was located at a car lot on North Cobb Parkway and after a brief struggle was taken into custody. He was in custody within 12 hours of the warrant being issued.
On May 29th a warrant was issued for the arrest of Miguel Floyd for Aggravated Assault Strangulation and Murder that occurred on May 28th at a residence on Favor Road in Marietta, Georgia. The Cobb County Police Crimes against Persons Unit quickly identified a suspect and issued arrest warrant. On May 29th the fugitive unit initiated a fugitive investigation and requested the assistance of U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in locating and apprehending Floyd. Investigators conducted interviews and surveillance in reference to his last known location in Marietta. During this investigation it was determined that Floyd had fled the Cobb County and was possibly headed to Louisiana. On June 3rd the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force determined that he was currently in the New Orleans, Louisiana area. On the following day the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force along with the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Floyd at a friend’s residence in New Orleans, Louisiana. Floyd was transported to the New Orleans Jail to be extradited back to Cobb County.
