Excellent Law Enforcement teamwork by our Criminal Investigation Unit and agencies in catching this subject that was making fraudulent drivers licenses.
Recently agents with the Department of Homeland Security, Georgia Driver Services Investigators and the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit conducted a joint operation in locating a lab that was creating fraudulent driver’s license in Cobb County.
During the operation, a subject named Kamau Brown was apprehended for creating and selling fraudulent Georgia Driver license. Subsequent to Brown’s apprehension, search warrants for Brown’s residence and vehicle were secured. During the search approximately 35 fraudulent driver licenses along with computers, printers, scanners, cameras, and materials needed to create fraudulent driver’s licenses were seized.
Kamau Brown was charged with three counts of Manufacturing, Selling, or Distributing false identification documents and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
