Motorcycle Unit

In 2002, four Harley Davidson law enforcement motorcycles were added to the Sheriff’s Office vehicle fleet. Due to the level of traffic congestion in Cobb County, motorcycles were considered a viable alternative to squad cars in the performance of duties such as funeral escorts, traffic control, routine patrol, and service of civil process.
