| Operation Stop Arm | Each year thousands of children are injured as pedestrians when getting on or off their school bus. In the United States, an average of twenty children a year die as a result of being hit by a vehicle that has illegally passed their school bus or being run over by their own bus. It is happening in Georgia. It is happening right here in Metro-Atlanta. Other states are already taking action to reduce the number of children hurt at their bus stops. Help us create safe bus stops in Georgia. |
